Able 04:50
on trodden ground I flee a darkness clasps my eye I sense this breath, a ghost taking me to see can't shake this dream rain hits my sleeve I stand alone take his hand and go I can't remember this sordid tender forgotten places where I first met her your mind has set its teeth this is no languid dream I'm hear to set you free walk with me and see adventure lies within your proposition intrigues but first I ask: why have you come for me to show this dream as life would have it now? this trodden path, unknown knocking at my future unveiled by the ghost take his hand and go let's shake my being rain waits our coat let's stand together take my hand and go I can't remember this sordid tender forgotten places where I first met her my friend and mentor show me the faster way to the pasture walk with me and see
2.
Walking 05:22
in the streets of this city I walk alone to the micro-tunings of a wealth gone by weathered night lamps planting mind traps stop a thought unknown this notion a godless bellow now I see just part of me a clean slate defined now I see a part of me adrift up to the ghost so elegant a walk beside my friend my friend leans in and say “keep walking” lazy scents of ragged bitches keep on wafting by my head throbs from sordid delusions starry hills chill tempered daughters a corpse unknown lays conquest through confusion there's an answer for everything you seek from this momentary lapse you'll find the fold uncertainty does live within the cautious thought my friend the ghost so elegant where peace meets malcontent she leans in close and says “just keep on walking”
3.
Dance 03:50
time is still and distant while thoughts provoke dissent from lingering fiascoes bred from this place so dear in me the men before who walked her well worn path to ends that meet disaster through means that call on wrath but still the voice gets closer and firmer still your way is paved with green lights stay the course force the way and see I can't remember this sordid tender forgotten places where I first met her my friend soon you'll connect the ends and fuse circular views created by men removed from truth and if you don't ask the questions loose more than truth loose you
4.
Ghost 05:29
in the corner she was sitting all alone a fearsome girl disconnected from all parts that make us whole the end of ends laments my friend the ghost and me I reached out my gaze with no dread she took it and rejected this touch of human connection the end of ends laments my friend the ghost and me this took me back you see, I tried to help her then it dawned on me the walk was true this act of mine is that just mine thank you my friend please lead the way take me to this state take me through Able's view stir the pot we'll get to the end of ends laments friends that die with you the edge of connection fuses the two and to the ends of the ghost and mr. Able
5.
End 07:22
on withered highways laced with graves I took my chances, spun the wheel where brothers falter disgraced by dreams my rook took aim, long live the king up with the ghost so elegant my conscience, my torch in dying light my friend my host this element will lead you to your day open your eyes, your mind's content pave your own free way adventure lies ahead a new conviction unties a bundled question in my head I'll come to the words some day some day 'til then I walk my own way my will to walk my own way I will walk my own way

about

The Ghost & Mr. Able was conceived through the belief that a style of music can be created that bridges the gap between orchestra patrons and pop and rock concert-goers. Ghost is steeped in the traditions of orchestral composers, pop artists and rock bands, but moves forward from there rather than existing merely through those customs.
Ghost as a whole was written using two extremes. On one hand, the songs were jammed out. Each song was shaped through compelling riffs and grooves. Using the songs as a foundation, string quartet parts were composed not as accompaniment but as the focus. It is the combination of jammed instinctual songs under crafted, developed musical gesture that makes the language of The Ghost & Mr. Able.
All the material for the album is presented in the first song through the quartet. The following four songs serve as development of this material. It is this craft that creates an inherent architecture recognized by any ear that seeks music. Furthermore, the listener never needs to know that this structure is there; similar to how we don’t need to know every beam of a well constructed building.
In the end, it’s up to the listener as to how they want to approach ghost: as five songs, as a concept album, or as a large scale work full of connections to be made.
